Meet the Artist: Angelica Pozo www.angelicapozo.com January **Thanks to a grant from the Ohio Arts Council, the Incarnate Word Academy’s Artist in Residence program will began January 16th. For four weeks our students will be working with professional artist, Angelica Pozo to create tiles that will be installed in the Learning Garden. February The students worked very hard in January and February with IWA's Artist in Residence to create unique and beautiful tiles. Our artist, Angelica Pozo, will return to IWA in the spring to work on the installation of the tiles in the Learning Garden. The tiles will be adhered to cement blocks which will be placed along the top of the stadium seating. There will also be planters spread throughout the garden with tiles on the sides of these as well. We will be able to use them to plant annuals to maintain a colorful garden throughout the year. We will need some volunteers in the spring to help with the installation. We also will need people to help plan the dedication. More information as to the time and date of the dedication will be forthcoming June Many volunteers donated their time to help put the beautiful tiles on display in the Learning Garden for all to see.
